About Us

DMCI Power Corporation (DPC), a wholly-owned subsidiary of DMCI Holdings Inc., was established in 2006 to energize the small and remote islands in the country that are not connected to the main power grid.  DPC utilizes all available technology that could provide reliable and sustainable supply of electricity to the islands. DPC continues to pursue its vision of becoming a major off-grid player in the Philippine power industry as it has established its presence in three (3) major provinces: Masbate, Palawan, and Mindoro, all categorized as missionary areas by the government.  In addition, DPC has ventured to power generation in the province of Sultan Kudarat which started its commercial operations last December 2016.

The company provides off-grid power to missionary areas through long-term power supply agreements with Masbate Electric Cooperative (MASELCO), Oriental Mindoro Electric Cooperative (ORMECO) and Palawan Electric Cooperative (PALECO).

Currently, DPC operates and maintains bunker-fired power plants and diesel generating sets.  However, under its commitment in its power supply agreements, DPC shall construct and operate Thermal Plants that will utilize indigenous coal as its fuel in the provinces of Masbate and Palawan.

DMCI Power Corporation exemplifies excellence in the off-grid power industry and has made contributions to the local economies where it operates.
